Summary

Leyzene doesn’t offer much in the way of features that beat competitors. Unfortunately, it’s a run of the mill, average product with a pricing situation that seems to be rising all of the time. Not only that, there are discrepancies on the website as to what’s in it, which is a concern. Eventually, things will clear up, but there’s nothing about Leyzene that makes it much better that the rest. In fact, many customers say it doesn’t work at all. For that reason, we’re giving it a Lacking rating. There are better products that you can try first before investing in Leyzene.

What is Leyzene?

Leyzene is a fast acting male enhancement supplement designed to give men a better sexual experience. It is not a daily supplement or intended for long-term use. The product is ideal for men who are experiencing early signs of erectile dysfunction due to age, or who may have been advised to try a natural supplement before going to a prescription. The ingredients in Leyzene are generally associated with fast, immediate action causing firm erections and a desire to have sex. It’s ideal for date nights or weekends.

Leyzene pills are manufactured in the US by Natural Subsistence, LLC. and comes with a 30 day 100% money back guarantee when purchased directly from the company.

Leyzene Benefits and Claims

The packaging indicates that Leyzene is a natural performance enhancer, but doesn’t go into any details about that. The only promises made, at least the only ones at the front of the box, are that you can expect powerful results, every time.

But on the company website, there is much more detail about what the product is designed to do and be. There are four major benefits listed:

  • Maximized performance
  • Increased testosterone
  • Increased endurance
  • Increased nitric oxide

Together, increased testosterone, endurance, and nitric oxide definitely lead to a better sexual performance. Men need all three of those things to have lasting, powerful, and intense sex. Testosterone helps support virility and libido, while endurance is necessary to be able to go the distance. Nitric oxide is necessary for better blood flow and stronger erections, especially when arteries and the circulatory system in general have been damaged.

Something that Leyzene claims that many other sexual performance boosting supplements don’t, is that it works with alcohol. This is a pro, because before sex, it’s natural to want to go out on a date where alcohol is consumed, or just open a bottle of wine and have something to drink, and it’s important that the pill still be effective. Many times, alcohol depresses the effects of performance enhancers, making them completely ineffective. Alcohol acts as a depressant, while male enhancement supplements act as stimulant, and the effects are opposite. If the supplement is powerful enough, it might be able to overcome the effects of alcohol.

Our results:

We’ve rated Leyzene based on the above criteria, from 0 (Very Poor) to 5 (Excellent).

Ratings for Leyzene
Availability
2 (Lacking) – There are really only a few places you can buy Leyzene, for some reason. You can definitely buy directly from the company’s website, but for a fast acting male enhancement supplement, which is needed at random times, you won’t be able to go down to your local pharmacy and pick it up. Most other fast acting supplements are more widely available than Leyzene, so give it a Lacking rating for availability.
Price
4 (Good) – Fast acting sexual performance pills can be expensive, especially because they are not taken regularly. Leyzene is still very affordable in comparison to similar pills, though, the recent addition of it to RevNutrition.com has taken the price up quite a bit. We give it a Good rating for price for now.
Variety
N/A – There aren’t any other varieties of Leyzene, such as a companion daily supplement or a maximum strength variety. Ideally, there would be. This neither harms nor helps the rating. However,  there are products on the market that have multiple varieties to serve men in all situations. We feel it would be beneficial to users if more variety was available.
Clinical Studies
2 (Lacking) – Most of the ingredients are known to be effective for male sexual performance. The ingredients themselves may have gone through clinical studies – usually looking at long term use and not short term, fast action. We give Leyzene a Lacking rating here, because the company hasn’t shown any proof that the product has gone through any clinical studies.
Doctor Recommendations
3 (Okay) – According to the makers of Leyzene, it is doctor “certified.” The company is so certain about this that they have created and published a frequently asked question explaining exactly what it means. “Doctor certified means that a medical doctor has reviewed Leyzene and its claims to make sure that it is safe and effective.” While you can never be 100% sure the company’s claims are legitimate, we will give it the benefit of the doubt here and give them a Good rating for doctor recommendations.
User Reviews
1 (Poor) – Positive user reviews for Leyzene are really lacking. The ratio of negative to positive reviews is noticeable, especially on Amazon. And since the distribution is so limited, and there are only three “testimonials” posted on the company’s website, the opportunity to increase positive reviews is going to be challenging. Because of that, we give the supplement a Poor rating here.
Risk of Side Effects
3 (Okay) – Leyzene has changed its formula at least once. At some point, it did contain Yohimbe, a strong ingredient that causes really unpleasant side effects for men. It may still contain it, given that the company lists Yohimbe in a snapshot of its ingredients on the FAQ page. For now, we’re giving Leyzene an Okay rating for side effects but if it does indeed contain Yohimbe, that would be a Lacking or Poor rating.
Overall Rating
2 (Lacking) – Other than price, there really isn’t much going for Leyzene. It doesn’t outperform competitors in any way aside from the cost, and even the cost appears to be rising. We have to give Leyzene a Lacking rating overall, because there really are better products on the market that are more proven and will likely work much better for you.

Cons/Potential Issues:

  • Not widely available
  • Lack of positive user reviews
  • Lack of clinical studies
  • Lack of variety
  • Potential risk of side effects

Does Leyzene work? Results and effects

Unfortunately, Leyzene has 5 times as many negative reviews online as there are positive ones, which is not a good thing. On Amazon, of 896 customer reviews, it has a 1.5 star rating. Most of the negative reviews are complaints that the product simply doesn’t work, even in higher doses than directed. Other users say that Leyzene shouldn’t be taken on an empty stomach, as there are side effects that come with doing that.

Some users say that it works, but takes about twice as long to work as the company says it does. Others say it’s not worth the investment because the ingredients, which can be purchased on their own, may work a little better and are more cost effective that way.

The majority of the positive reviews indicate that the product works as designed, and works fast.

Examples of what customers are saying:

  • “Unfortunately, the reviews are pretty accurate. This product was not as effective as it is described.”
  • “I took it on an empty stomach, and waited and waited and waited, 2, 3, 4, 5 hours nothing.”
  • “These worked well, but don’t take on an empty stomach.”

What makes Leyzene work?

Leyzene works by releasing nitric oxide into the bloodstream and increasing testosterone. Nitric oxide is critical for longevity. By dilating the blood vessels, nitric oxide contributes to the rush of blood to the penix, creating a longer and stronger erection. Nitric oxide is restricted in men with certain medical conditions. In very healthy men, no additional nitric oxide release is required.

There is some discrepancy about what exactly is contained in Leyzene, which is kind of unsettling. At some point, it probably went through a major change in ingredients, which is normal. But, it’s not clear which version of ingredients is the most up to date one.

As published on the product’s website, the Leyzene ingredients are:

  • Horny Goat Weed (500 mg)– Horny Goat Weed is one of the most commonly found ingredients in fast acting male sexual performance enhancers. Horny Goat Weed can increase virility, stamina, libido, and blood flow, making it an ideal all-around ingredient. It’s also safe to use with little side effects.
  • Arginine Nitrate (300 mg)– Arginine Nitrate is linked to the release of nitric oxide into the bloodstream. Most male enhancement products contain L-Arginine, which is different. Some say that Arginine Nitrate is more effective but works slower, and that may be one reason there are complaints that Leyzene doesn’t work quickly.
  • Gluconolactone (50 mg) – Gluconolactone is an antioxidant. Antioxidants help increase blood flow and care for the circulatory system. It’s usually used in skin therapy, but can also treat urinary and bladder issues.
  • Black Pepper Extract (10 mg) – Black Pepper Extract is a highly beneficial nutritional supplement. In erectile dysfunction and its related symptoms, Black Pepper is a stimulant known for increasing blood flow.
  • Yohimbe HCL (2 mg) – Yohimbe is the most common ingredient found in fast-acting, potent erection boosters and sexual performance enhancers. But Yohimbe is very controversial because its side effects tend to outweigh the benefits.

This is a different list of ingredients than shown on the packaging of the product sold on Alpha XR. As is the case with most male enhancement pills, Leyzene could have been through several revisions.

Even more confusing, right underneath the image that the company itself has posted on its website specifically including Yohimbe, the company said that Leyzene stays away from “ingredients that are known to cause side effects such as yohimbe.” Either the FAQ for ingredients is outdated, or at some point the company started producing it with Yohimbe again.

The Leyzene ingredient list for the product sold on Amazon is:

  • Xanthoparmelia (300 mg) – Xanthoparmelia is a well-known aphrodisiac known for increasing sexual desire, improving erections, promoting endurance, and intensifying orgasms.
  • Agmatine Sulfate (250 mg)– Agmatine Sulfate is used to release more nitric oxide into the bloodstream and produce stronger erections.
  • Mucuna Pruriens (250 mg)– Otherwise known as Velvet Bean, Mucuna Pruriens is an herbal aphrodisiac and is also thought to be an anti-depressant, assisting with the production of dopamine by blocking an inhibitor.
  • Icariin (100 mg)– Icariin is another name for Horny Goat Weed, whose benefits have been described above.

Is Leyzene safe to use?

Generally, yes, though the company warns users not to take more than 2 pills in 24 hours.

Leyzene Side effects and contraindications

If Leyzene includes Yohimbe, some unpleasant side effects could be upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and a persistent headache that lasts beyond the effects of the pill. If not, the remaining ingredients are unlikely to cause negative side effects.

Still, with any natural supplement, determine if you’re allergic to the ingredients first.

Where to Buy Leyzene?

Leyzene was recently (March 2017) added to the product listing on RevNutrition, but at a much higher price than the same product on Amazon. The cost on RevNutrition is $35.
